HACK THE HUB

April 7th - April 21st, 2025

Join us for two weeks of rebuilding the commons hub, renewing its spirit and reimagining its future.

We invite all friends of the Hub to contribute with their skills, ideas, and energy to its physical, digital and conceptual improvement, and to celebrate its resurrection with three days of Easter festivities.

While we’re open to creative input, a few key projects involve:

• Building a sauna, bunk beds and other minor projects;

• Painting a mural on the kitchen wall facing the garden;

• Finishing construction works in and around the house;

• Resetting veggie beds and expanding our garden capacity; 

• Improving our digital infrastructure and exploring new functions;

• Conceptualizing social protocols that foster stronger community ties;

• Working with a shaman to cleanse the Hub of lingering negative energies.

 

Board and lodging are free, as we count on your help to get the Hub in shape. More than that, though, we seek your feedback on professionalizing the Hub while honoring the values of its surrounding community. Participation in this event will have a lasting impact, not just on the space itself, but also on its atmosphere and culture.
